How We Can Help

  • Practical Support

Our Companions are happy to help with light housework, laundry, bed changing and many other jobs around the house. We have no fixed plans or timetables for visits – it’s all up to you. From running the vacuum cleaner around, to helping with jobs you never get around to doing (such as sorting out a drawer or putting photos in albums), we can help with it all, in your own time.

We can also help with meal preparation and are more than happy for you to join in with meal planning and cooking if you wish to do so.

  • Out and About

Companions are fully insured to take you about and about in their car. They can take you shopping or do errands on your behalf.

You can visit the local park, the garden centre for a coffee, or anywhere else you may wish to venture. We can also accompany you to appointments.

And, yes, we are also happy to walk your dog for you.

  • Companionship and Social Support

Companions are matched with clients as far as possible, to suit their character and interests.

We provide meaningful visits to give you chance to talk about your life or interests, and put the world to right if you so wish. Your Companion will take time to make sure that their visit is as useful, enjoyable and rewarding as possible. You will see the same Companion for each visit so that you can get to know each other and pick up where you left off each time.

We can help you to search for activities in the local community and accompany you to these if needed.
